Two Ways To Obtain Your Credit Report:

First Option:
 
There are three credit reporting companies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) who can provide you with a free copy of your credit report one time each year.
 
Information they will need when you call:
     Your Social Security Number
     Some Miscellaneous Account Information To Verify Your Identity
     Previous Address If You Moved In Less Than Two Years
 
 
 
Second Option:
 
Visit www.AnnualCreditReport.com
This secure website will accept your application online.
You may also call (877) 322-8228 to apply via telephone.
 
After Receiving Your Credit Report:
Review the report thoroughly.  Be sure the accounts listed are are accurate and complete.  Check the status (active, current, etc.), and review any late payment history for accuracy.  Contact each credit reporting company to report any errors.
